Our mission is twofold: first, to improve the community's health through the efficient provision, coordination and integration of quality health services, health education and research. Secondly, we strive to provide compassionate, quality health services according to the physical, spiritual, psychological, social, religious, environmental, and economic needs of our communities. Barnesville Hospital shall always be a model for excellence in rural healthcare and a vital center of community health activities throughout southeastern Ohio.

   In the latest "A Consumer's Guide to Hospital Quality" (Central and Southeast Ohio Version), Barnesville Hospital is ranked as five-star in all categories where evaluated! Only a review of the report itself will illustrate how remarkable this is. Also, in 2004 Barnesville Hospital was selected as one of the Top 100 Performance Improvement Hospitals in the nation by Solucient and Modern Healthcare. This distinction placed Barnesville Hospital in the top 2% of all hospitals nationwide. Barnesville Hospital continues to improve the communities' health by providing quality medical care with the latest technology available.
