Vicki Burghy, Doctor of Physical Therapy – Vicki has been employed at WVU -Barnesville Hospital for 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences in 1997 from Ohio University, Master’s and Doctorate from Wheeling Jesuit University in Physical Therapy in 1999 and 2004, respectfully. Areas of interest include concussion treatment and the elderly population.
Rana Anderson, Doctor of Physical Therapy – Rana has been employed at WVU – Barnesville Hospital for 5 years. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2001 from Ohio University and her Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy From Wheeling Jesuit University in 2003 and 2004, respectfully. Her areas of interest include sports and orthopedic injuries and vestibular/balance treatment. Rana is certified in Kinesiotaping, for athletic injuries and functional movement patterns and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to treat restrictions in soft tissues such as muscles and tendons.
Angela Jefferis, Physical Therapist Assistant – Angie has been employed at WVU – Barnesville Hospital for 19 years. She graduated from Zane State in 1999 with an AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant. Areas of interest include sports and orthopedic injuries, spine stabilization and posture modification.
Jaime Temple, Physical Therapist Assistant – Jaime has been employed at WVU -Barnesville Hospital for 12 years. She graduated from Zane State in 2007 with an AAS degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Areas of interest include neurological and vestibular treatment.
Kim Tingler, OTR/L – Kim has been employed at Barnesville Hospital for 1 year, She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Her areas of interest include stroke rehab and hand therapy.
Stacey Wells, Speech Language Pathologist – Stacey has been employed at WVU Medicine – Barnesville Hospital for 14 years. She graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree and Kent State University in 2005 with a masters degree in Speech Pathology. Her interests include pediatric and child speech and language delays and swallowing/feeding disorders.
Carla Boyd, Director of Rehab Services – Carla has been employed at WVU Medicine – Barnesville Hospital for 18 years. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1988 and a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology in 1990. Her interest include adult trach, swallowing and CVA patients. Carla is certified In VitalStim treatment for swallowing disorders.
