Requirements: The individual will plan, develop and implement new systematic approaches to maximizing revenue and cash flow. They will pursue denied claims and delinquent accounts. The position involves daily activity management of business office staff, with a focus on healthcare billing follow-up.
Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years management/billing experience in a hospital setting, preferably with Medicare, must have strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of multiple third party billing and reimbursement guidelines required. Ability to analyze standard revenue cycle metrics; and take action accordingly, required. Experience with RAC and other audits and appeals preferred. Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
