BPA offers withdrawal management providing an outpatient model for individuals in need of withdrawal from alcohol, opiates or Suboxone/Subutex. This program has many of the benefits of inpatient withdrawal in a less restrictive environment.
Medication can be prescribed to assist with the discomfort of withdrawal. This allows individuals to remain at home, rather than utilizing an inpatient facility.
Referral to Behavioral Counseling
Individual, Group and Intensive Outpatient counseling are offered by Crossroads Counseling Services. Behavioral counseling coupled with any treatment is critical to recovery and is a requirement to receiving addiction services through BPA.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Therapies
MAT is for those addicted to opioids, heroin, Suboxone or Subutex.
MAT assists those with the physical cravings for drugs and/or alcohol. Vivitrol which is non-addictive is provided and blocks the receptors in the brain that allow an individual to get high.
Combined with behavior modification, MAT has been proven to be the best option for recovery.
Who should be referred for Addiction Services?
Anyone actively using opiates, alcohol or Suboxone/Subutex and needs assistance with withdrawal management.
Individuals who are not candidates for inpatient treatment.
Individuals who are unable to remain sober due to physical cravings.
